Gaza Health Ministry: Rising family targeting, death toll in June & July
Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported a rise in fatalities during June and July, saying Israeli attacks on the Strip have continued despite ceasefire talks.
Health official Zaher Al-Wahidi said June recorded 134 deaths, up from 110 in May, and warned that daily attacks remain ongoing.
He said three Palestinian families were erased from the civil registry in the past two months, bringing the number of families who lost all members since October 2023 to nearly 2,000.
The ministry said the death toll since the October 2025 ceasefire reached 1,123, with 3,616 injured, while the overall toll since October 7, 2023, stands at about 73,246 deaths and 173,727 injuries.
