Humanitarian Affairs Council, Ministry of Human Rights discuss joint coordination
Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Ibrahim al-Hamly met on Monday with Acting Minister of Human Rights Ali Al-Dailami.
During the meeting, they discussed joint coordination frameworks to serve human rights work.
The meeting, which was attended by human rights advisers Hamid al-Rafiq and Amira al-Arassi, touched on the violations suffered by Yemenis as a result of aggression and siege and ways to alleviate human suffering through the implementation of projects that contribute to alleviating their suffering.
Al Hamly stressed the importance of joint coordination and activation of areas of action to serve the human rights path. Noting the importance of detecting grave violations by States of aggression against Yemenis eight years ago.
For his part, the Acting Minister for Human Rights noted the importance of enhancing coordination with the Humanitarian Council to improve humanitarian pathways.
