Woman was killed & her husband was wounded in bombing by Saudi enemy mercenaries in Taiz

A woman was killed and her husband seriously injured on Tuesday when Saudi enemy mercenaries shelled residential areas in Taiz Governorate.

A local source told the Yemen News Agency (Saba) that the mercenaries fired a mortar shell at civilian houses in the Al-Haljoum area of Al-Harir in Salh District shortly before sunset.

The shelling killed the woman after she succumbed to shrapnel wounds, while her husband sustained varying injuries and was taken for medical treatment.

The source condemned the continued targeting of populated villages, saying what it described as the UN’s silence had encouraged further violations against the Yemeni people.
