Remains of 28 Palestinian martyrs recovered from Abu Nima family home in Gaza

Civil Defense teams in the Gaza Strip recovered on Sunday the remains of 28 Palestinian martyrs from the Abu Nima family home in Gaza City, which had been struck by Israeli bombardment.

According to the Palestinian news agency “Sanad,” the Civil Defense reported that its teams successfully recovered the remains of 28 martyrs from the rubble of the Abu Nima family home in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, north of Gaza City; the house had been destroyed by an Israeli airstrike during the ongoing war of extermination.

On Saturday, Civil Defense teams also recovered the bodies and remains of martyrs from the rubble of Atallah family home on Al-Yarmouk Street, west of Gaza City—a house destroyed by an Israeli airstrike during the war—while search operations for missing persons beneath the debris continue.

Civil Defense teams face significant challenges due to the sheer volume of rubble and a lack of the heavy machinery and equipment needed to lift concrete blocks.
