Health ministry undersecretary inspects victims of Saudi aggression massacre at Taiz Central Market
Dr. Abdulwahab Saad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Environment, inspected on Monday the condition of those wounded in the massacre committed by the Saudi aggression at the Central Market in the Mafraq Mawiyah area of Taiz, visiting several hospitals across the governorate.
Dr. Saad—accompanied by the Ministry’s Director General of Emergency Services, Dr. Osama Al-Sharafi, and the Acting Director of the Governorate’s Health Office, Dr. Fadl Al-Qabati—reviewed the medical and therapeutic services provided to the wounded. They also received briefings from medical staff regarding the patients’ health status and the efforts being made to treat their injuries.
During the visit, the Undersecretary urged medical personnel to continue their efforts in caring for the wounded and to provide all possible support to ensure the quality of care for the injured is improved.
He described the attack on the Taiz Central Market as a crime in every sense—one that exposes the terrorist nature of the Saudi aggression, which has begun targeting the Yemeni people’s livelihoods and the very means of their survival.
