Saudi Shelling Kills, Injures Civilians in Yemen’s Al-Baida, Taiz, Sa’adah

At least two civilians were killed and several others injured in Saudi artillery shelling and airstrikes targeting civilian areas in Yemen’s Al-Baida, Taiz and Sa’adah governorates..

In Al-Baida, one civilian was killed and two others injured after Saudi-backed forces shelled civilian homes in the Al-Majreesh area of Al-Daher District.

In Taiz, an Almasirah correspondent reported that a civilian succumbed to injuries sustained when Saudi-backed forces shelled his home in the Al-Harir area of Sala District.

In Sa’adah, a civilian was injured in Saudi artillery shelling of border areas in Haydan District. ALso , a Saudi airstrike on Saqayn District, amid continued artillery shelling and airstrikes targeting border districts.

The latest attacks come amid a wider escalation of Saudi airstrikes and artillery shelling across several Yemeni governorates. Earlier, Saudi aircraft targeted educational facilities and service centers in Lahj, Ibb, Hajjah, Hodeidah, Taiz and Sa’adah, injuring several.
