Entesaf Organization for Women and Child Rights documented a human rights report entitled “Bombardment and Strangers,” addressing the crime committed by the Saudi-led coalition’s warplanes against a road and bridge in the Baqim area, Baqim District, Sa’ada Governorate, on Saturday, October 10, 2015. The attack resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children.
The report provided details of the incident and witness testimonies. It also examined the legal framework governing the crime under international laws and conventions. The report relied on the Organization’s statistics regarding the circumstances of the incident and the number of casualties, as well as interviews conducted with witnesses. Relevant provisions of international law, treaties, and conventions were also consulted to clarify the legal framework applicable to the crime committed against women and children in the Baqim area.
