Ministry of Health: 11 citizens martyred, injured in Sabr Al-Mawadim, Jabal Habashy, Taiz
The Ministry of Health and Environment affirmed that three citizens were martyred and eight others injured as a result of the targeting of enemy reinforcements with mortar shells in Sabr Al-Mawadim and Jabal Habashy districts in Taiz Governorate.
In a statement issued by the Ministry, it explained that Saudi enemy reinforcements targeted this evening with mortar shells a gas station in the Al-Dhabab area of Sabr Al-Mawadim District, resulting in the martyrdom of two citizens and the injury of eight others with varying injuries, and causing damage to property. The brutal mortar shelling also led to the martyrdom of a woman in Jabal Habash District.
It affirmed that these crimes come as an extension of a series of systematic attacks targeting the lives of civilians and vital infrastructure, and reflect a policy of genocide against the Yemeni people, amid international silence that allows the aggressor to continue its crimes without deterrence.
The Ministry of Health renewed its affirmation that the continuation of these crimes doubles the humanitarian catastrophe that Yemen has been experiencing for more than 12 years, calling on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to bear their legal and moral responsibility, condemn these crimes, and work to stop the aggression and lift the siege imposed on the Yemeni people, which has caused an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
