The Bombing of Sheikh Mansour Hayel Sinan’s Home in Taiz: 7 Civilians Killed—Including 2 Children—and 6 Children Injured
Entisaf Organization for Women and Child Rights condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the act of aggression by the Saudi-led coalition involving the bombing of Sheikh Mansour Hayel Sinan’s home in the Al-Barh area of Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate. The attack, which took place on the evening of Wednesday, November 4, 2026, resulted in the deaths of 7 civilians—including 2 children—and left 6 children injured, bringing the total number of casualties to 13. This incident marks yet another grave violation against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Yemen.
The organization asserts that targeting inhabited homes constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights principles—specifically the principles of distinction and proportionality. It reflects a blatant disregard for civilian lives, particularly those of children, who bear the heaviest toll from the ongoing aggression.
Furthermore, the organization emphasizes that the bombing of civilian objects, which exposes the population to the risk of death and injury, necessitates an independent and transparent investigation into the circumstances of this crime. Those responsible must be identified, held accountable, and brought to justice to ensure they do not escape punishment, while also securing redress for the victims and their families. The organization holds the Saudi-led aggression fully responsible for this crime and the resulting human casualties and suffering. It calls upon the international community, the United Nations, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to condemn this attack, take urgent action to halt the ongoing violations against civilians in Yemen, ensure the protection of the population and civilian objects, and secure justice for the victims.
