Three People, Including African Migrant, Wounded by Saudi Fire in Sa’adah

Local sources said two civilians were wounded by gunfire from the Saudi army in the border district of Shada early Friday, in another incident involving shooting toward populated areas along the border.

Separately, Saudi warplanes carried out an airstrike on the Al-Jamala area of Majz district in Sa’adah province.

Meanwhile, Dr. Anis al-Asbahi, spokesperson for Yemen’s Ministry of Health and Environment, confirmed that two civilians and an African migrant were wounded by Saudi fire in the Hatab, Al-Qahr and Al Thabit areas of Sahar district in the same province.

Sa’adah’s border districts have faced repeated Saudi cross-border gunfire, artillery shelling and airstrikes since the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen began in March 2015.

These attacks have endangered civilians in villages and residential areas, including local residents and African migrants, while damaging homes, farms and essential infrastructure.
