Health Ministry: 52 killed or injured in Saudi enemy attack on houses in Bani Hushaysh District

The Ministry of Health and Environment announced that 52 civilians were killed or injured in a Saudi enemy airstrike targeting residential houses in Bani Hushaysh District, Sana’a Governorate.

In a statement, the ministry said the airstrikes hit homes in Al-Shariyah area, killing 22 civilians, mostly women and children, and injuring 30 others in an initial toll. The injured included an Al-Masirah TV cameraman who was covering the attack in the line of duty.

The ministry strongly condemned the massacre, saying the strikes completely destroyed occupied houses and targeted civilians, medical teams and rescue workers, while also bombing roads leading to the scene, in a deliberate violation of international humanitarian law.

It stressed that targeting civilians, residential houses, medical personnel and rescue teams constitutes a fully fledged war crime, holding the countries involved in the aggression fully responsible for the crime and its humanitarian consequences.
