Israel’s settlement plan to seize 100 thousand hectares of Palestinian land
The Palestinian Liberation Organization’s National Office for the Defense of Land and Resistance of Settlement said that the Israeli occupation is preparing a new settlement plan through which it seizes 100,000 hectares of Palestinian lands located between the Occupied Jerusalem and the Dead Sea in the West Bank.
The plan aims to separate the south of the West Bank from its north and center.
The office noted that the plan is strategically dangerous because it completely eliminates any possibility of establishing a Palestinian state as per the 1967 border.
The office added that the Israeli settlers continues their attacks on the cities and the towns of the West Bank under the protection of the occupation forces, as they stormed the Masafer Yatta areas in Hebron and Bir Aouneh in Bethlehem and the town of Burin and Qaryut in Nablus, burned areas of land planted with olive trees and other fruitful trees, and attacked Palestinian homes and properties in the towns of Barqa in Nablus.
