Launching free medical camp for eye surgery in Hodeida
The Health Care Association for Affected Communities launches the 56th free medical camp for eye surgery at Al-Tuhayta Rural Hospital in Hodeida Governorate on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.
The camp, which will last from 8 to 13 Rabi’ al-Awal, with funding from the Yemen Mobile mobile phone company and sponsored by the Ministry of Public Health and Population and its office in Hodeida, aims to provide services and perform 200 operations including (cataracts, conjunctival pterygium, fatty eyelid bags) for the vulnerable in the Al-Tuhayta District.
The head of the Health Care Association for Affected Communities, Dr. Nashwan Al-Attab, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the 56th free medical camp in Hodeida comes as a practical embodiment of the initiatives of the association’s ophthalmologists to participate in translating the meanings of compassion and solidarity.
