The armed conflict in Yemen is entering its seventh year, making it the world’s largest humanitarian crisis.
Thousands of civilians have lost their lives and property. Nearly 4 million people have been forced to flee to safer places across the country. Essential services have almost collapsed, leaving millions of people in Yemen vulnerable to a humanitarian crisis.
Yemen is facing the world’s largest food security emergency, leaving nearly 20 million people – representing 66 percent of the country’s population – in need of humanitarian assistance.
In the middle of this humanitarian crisis, our team in the field is working relentlessly. We are providing food and basic household equipment to as many people as possible. We are also supporting health care facilities while trying to improve the conditions of prisoners.
In the year 2020 , we were able to help millions of people in Yemen. But millions are still in need of help.
