Statement of Condemnation Regarding the Continued US Aggression Against Iran and the Rising Number of Martyrs and Wounded

The Entisaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights strongly condemns the continued US aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which targets civilians and civilian infrastructure. The death toll from this aggression has risen to 38 martyrs and more than 400 wounded, a toll that reflects the gravity of these crimes and the escalating human suffering they cause.

This targeting constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes targeting civilians in any form. It also confirms the United States’ deliberate violation of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, foremost among them the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality. This elevates these crimes to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity, warranting accountability and prosecution.

The organization held the United States fully responsible for all crimes committed against civilians and demanded an independent and transparent international investigation and accountability for all those responsible for these violations. It also held the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their continued silence and failure to fulfill their legal and humanitarian obligations, which encourages the perpetration of further crimes and violations against civilians.
