Entesaf Organization Condemns Continued Israeli Violations and Rising Civilian Casualties in Gaza to 1,381 Killed and 4,757 Injured Since the Ceasefire

Entesaf Organization for Women and Child Rights strongly condemns the continued crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the occupation has failed to comply with the ceasefire that came into effect on 11 October, but has continued its violations and attacks against civilians, exacerbating the humanitarian suffering and resulting in further deaths and injuries, while the bodies of victims continue to be recovered from beneath the rubble.

According to the latest figures released by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 1,381 people have been killed and 4,757 injured since the ceasefire took effect, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 831 victims. This horrific toll reflects the continuation of violations and the escalating suffering of civilians, particularly women and children.

The organization stresses that the continuation of these crimes and violations despite the ceasefire constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law and highlights the urgent need for serious and effective international action to ensure the protection of civilians and hold those responsible for these violations accountable.

Entesaf Organization holds the Israeli occupation responsible for crimes committed against civilians and civilian facilities and calls for an independent and transparent international investigation to ensure accountability and prevent perpetrators of violations from enjoying impunity. It also calls for urgent support to rescue and relief teams to recover victims and identify their remains, as well as ensuring the delivery of humanitarian and medical assistance to affected populations.

The organization further calls upon the United Nations, the United Nations Security Council, and international states and organizations to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities and take urgent and effective measures to ensure respect for the ceasefire, protect civilians, halt violations, and address the devastating humanitarian consequences endured by the people of the Gaza Strip.
