Entesaf Organization condemns Saudi escalation , targeting of civilians & students

Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights condemned the ongoing Saudi enemy escalation and attacks on civilians in populated areas, including two airstrikes on Beit Allahida in As-Sawan, Bani Hashish District, Sana’a Governorate, which killed a female student and injured six people, including two students.

A woman was also killed in a strike on a farm in Beit Al-Shatibi, Sanhan District.

In a statement, the organization said the attacks constitute serious violations of international humanitarian and human rights law, particularly rules protecting civilians , requiring adherence to the principles of distinction and proportionality.

It stressed that targeting students , other civilians constitutes a grave violation of their right to life and safety, noting that children are afforded special protection under international law.

The organization called for documenting and investigating the violations and holding those responsible accountable. It also urged the international community to take effective measures to protect women, children and civilians, halt attacks on civilian areas and facilities, ensure the protection of children and educational institutions.

Entesaf held Saudi enemy responsible for the attacks and their consequences, stressing the need for genuine accountability, redress and measures to prevent recurrence.
