Cholera and Diarrhea Killing Children among the Siege of Aggression
With regard to Cholera and Diarrhea, about 12 thousand children aged between one month and 15 years died during the Aggression campaign against Yemen. More than 30 thousand children suffer from chronic diseases, and they have been denied their rights to seek life-saving treatment abroad since the Aggression’s closure of Sana’a Airport in August 2016. This horrible situation continues causing tens of these children to die every day.
Furthermore, diphtheria, measles, malaria, dengue fever, and many respiratory diseases have increasingly spread due to the practices of the Coalition of Aggression, which put health life of hundreds of Yemeni children at risk.
Thousands of children with cancer, the cause of which is the Aggression’s weapons, are unable to access suitable medication due to the Aggression’s embargo on the import of their medicine and medical devices.
These cases and other similar ones reveal how Yemeni children have lived and are living in full view and knowledge of the international community and under the negative role of United Nations.
