The Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights confirmed that the Yemeni people have been subjected to the most heinous terrorist crimes by the US-Saudi aggression coalition and its mercenaries for more than eight years.
The organization said in a statement, in conjunction with the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, of which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy, “The world celebrates the International Day of Commemoration and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, which claims that member states have the primary responsibility to support the victims of terrorism and uphold their rights, just as it claims that nations the United States plays an important role in supporting the implementation of the first and fourth elements of the Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy by showing solidarity and support for victims, helping to build capacity and promoting, protecting and respecting the rights of victims.
The statement stated that comes when the aggression coalition and its mercenaries are committing crimes that shame humanity, claiming the lives of 13,725 dead ,wounded women and children without effective action by those who raise the slogans of human rights.
He pointed out that the aggression crimes and its air strikes used a lot of cluster , chemical bombs and other internationally prohibited weapons, which caused the number of people with cancer to rise to 35 thousand people, including more than a thousand children, and some types of tumors increased by a rate ranging from 200 to 300 percent. cent as a result of these weapons.
The statement confirmed the failure to implement the eighth review adopted by the United Nations on June 22, 2023 regarding supporting the rights of victims and supporting their needs, especially women , children and those affected by gender-based violence committed by terrorists, indicating that rates of gender-based violence among children are constantly increasing, as increased by 63 percent during aggression.
He explained that the crimes and violations committed by the aggression forces on the western coast amounted to 722 crimes, including the crimes of kidnapping ,rape of women , children, pointing to the violations of the Saudi regime by detaining and torturing a number of Yemeni women, including Marwa Al-Sabri, Fekra Al-Dhabyani, Sahar Rajab, Yusra Shater and Naziha Al-Junaid.
The statement stated that the number of victims of the aggression’s remnants of explosions has risen to eight thousand and 222 civilians, including 194 children who were killed or wounded.
The organization held the aggression coalition led by America and Saudi Arabia responsible for all crimes and violations against civilians, especially women and children, calling on the international community, international organizations, human rights and humanitarian bodies to bear legal and humanitarian responsibility for these violations and terrorist acts.
The organization called on the free people of the world to take effective and positive action to stop the aggression , protect civilians, and to form an independent international commission to investigate all crimes committed against the Yemeni people, and to hold accountable all those found involved in them.
