“Remains in the Darkness of the Sea”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report entitled “Remains in the Darkness of the Sea”, which addressed the crime committed by the aggression coalition aircraft against fishermen’s boats and their property in the Al-Badhi Island area in Al-Luhayyah District in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on February 13, 2019.
It talked about the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions.
The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Al-Badhi Island area.
