Entesaf Organization Issues Report Titled “Yemen Between US Attacks and Support for Innocent Cries”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights today issued a report titled “Yemen Between US Attacks and Support for Innocent Cries.”
The report highlights the crimes committed by the US aggression against Yemen during the period from March 15 to January 2025.
The report documented more than 1,700 raids launched by US forces targeting civilian areas, facilities, and objects, using prohibited and advanced weapons, resulting in the deaths and injuries of more than 2,000 civilians, including women and children.
The report emphasized that these crimes will not deter the Yemeni people from their position, stemming from their religious, humanitarian, and moral commitment to support and assist the Palestinian people, who are being subjected to war, crimes of genocide, and starvation at the hands of the Zionist killing machine.
The report denounced the silence and inaction of the United Nations and its affiliated organizations, as well as the complicity of a number of regimes, including Arab states that have normalized relations with the Zionist enemy entity.
Also the report considered the daily attacks against Palestinians in Gaza and the Yemeni people a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and a crime of genocide.
It held the Zionist entity and the countries supporting and backing it legally responsible for the extermination and starvation of civilians in Gaza, and held silent countries legally and morally complicit in these crimes.
The report called for an end to the aggression against Yemen, its land and people, the urgent opening of humanitarian corridors and crossings to provide relief to the Palestinian people in Gaza, and an end to the starvation war to which the people of Gaza are subjected around the clock.
It called on international organizations, primarily the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, to assume their responsibility in documenting the crimes of the Zionist and American occupations, opening an international investigation, holding those responsible for these crimes accountable, compensating victims, rebuilding destroyed infrastructure, and ensuring unhindered access to humanitarian aid.
During the event, Ali Tayseer, head of the Human Rights Sector at the Ministry of Justice, praised the efforts of Intesaf Organization in preparing the report, which reveals the truth to public opinion and exposes the historically rooted American, British, and Zionist criminality. He stressed that Yemen, its leadership and people, will not abandon its religious, humanitarian, and moral duty to support the Palestinian people, despite the circumstances they are experiencing as a result of the aggression and blockade.
For his part, Hamid Al-Rafiq, Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, addressed the legal frameworks of the US aggression against Yemen and the Yemeni position on Gaza.
He considered the US attacks on Yemen since January 2024 a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of the rules and provisions of the UN Charter and international conventions such as Geneva and The Hague.
Al-Rafiq noted that Yemen’s religious, humanitarian, and moral position in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza and preventing the Zionist entity from committing the crime of genocide and forced displacement against them is a sound measure recognized by the International Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
Sumaya Al-Ta’ifi, Head of the Intisaf Organization, explained that the report aimed to expose the crimes of the arrogant and tyrannical states, “America and Israel,” in destroying and sabotaging civilian facilities and killing civilians among the Yemeni people for their rejection of the war of genocide and mass starvation against the Palestinian people.
