Israeli forces arrest 22 Palestinians, including journalist, in West Bank, Quds

Israeli forces launched a series of raids and incursions in several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and Quds early Wednesday morning, resulting in the arrest of 22 Palestinians, including a journalist. The arrests took place in Nablus, Bethlehem, Hebron, Qalqilya, Tulkarm, and Quds, coinciding with widespread raids on homes and towns.

In Nablus, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinian youths during a raid on the Karoum Ashour area of the city. They also raided the village of Al-Badhan, northeast of Nablus, and the village of Tell, southwest of the city.

In the village of Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, Israeli forces arrested brothers Assem and Yasser Ali Makhlouf during a raid on the village, according to the Palestinian news agency “Sanad.”

In Bethlehem, the Israeli army arrested two Palestinians, including a journalist. A Palestinian security source, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA, stated that the Israeli army raided the city of Bethlehem, deployed in Al-Saf Street, and arrested journalist Abdul Rahman Abdul Karim Muhammad Hassan (39 years old). From the Dheisheh refugee camp to the south, they arrested Mustafa Ali Ismail Aliyan (30 years old).

In Hebron, Israeli forces arrested eight Palestinians on Wednesday from the town of Al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron in the West Bank.

Security and local sources told WAFA that the Israeli forces arrested Hussein Muhammad Hussein Al-Batat, his brother Bassam, his son Walid Bassam Al-Batat, Nassar Abdul Latif Hammad Al-Tal, Baraa Rami Al-Hawarin, Luay Al-Batat, Qassam Muhammad Mansour Al-Qaysiya, and Muhammad Zaid Al-Qaysiya from Al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron. They were taken to an unknown location after their homes were searched and their contents ransacked.
